URL Rotator (with Tracking) Beta

Hi Warriors – here is the download link to the beta version of the plugin.

In order to stay up to date with the updates, please leave a quick comment below and subscribe to the post. Or, you can subscribe to the comments without leaving a comment. You won’t be on any email list other than for this post.

I’ll post an update comment each time there’s something notable and you can just come back and grab the new copy.

At the top of the admin page for the plugin (URL Rotator under Tools), you’ll see a spot where you can enter the variable to save. This is the &TRACKINGID part… whatever your variable is, just enter it in this part here, and save. You don’t need a & or a ? or an = or anything else – just the variable.

Now you need to make sure that your target URLs are formatted correctly to receive the variable.

IE, if the variable you’re capturing is called KW and you’re sending traffic to a clickbank offer, then you need to save the variable KW and format your target URLs like this:

That way the value of the kw variable will be appended to the target URL when the user leaves the site. I’ve demonstrated how to use tracking in this video:

For a bit more detail on other ways to use this plugin, (focusing more on the link rotating), see the video on this post.

I hope that’s clear enough! Let me know if you’ve got questions.

Just changed the way the variables are stored, now it is more reliable. Also, just added a demonstration video for the keyword tracking function.

Jonathan, I uploaded this to my plugin folder and when trying to save Options or New Test Group, I receive an error stating, “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”

    Any thoughts?

Jonathan, great plugin! I’ve been trying to figure out FOREVER how to rotate LPs, couldn’t get tracking202 rotate script to work on wordpress. I think this is going to do the trick!
